Alongside running a sports marketing agency, our founder, Jamie Mitchell, set out to create an innovative pool betting product with business partner and experienced sportsbook operator, Wayne.
The original Low6 game was launched. We evolved the game before moving into high growth, securing our first partnerships to run games with the PDC Darts and Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
Word got around and we partnered with various sporting rights holders and fan channels to provide Pick'Ems. We developed games for football, racing, motorsport and more.
Our biggest partnership yet. The UFC Picks app was launched, giving UFC fans a new Pick'Em game and stats app in one.
Fresh for the postponed Euro 2020, our UltimateFan 'fantasy football meets pack openings' game was brought to life. UF rocketed to the top of the app store charts as No.1 grossing football fantasy app, with a quick leap to 100,000+ players and a real buzz for the concept.
Following our North American expansion, we launched games with Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals, ahead of a season that saw the Bengals crowned Super Bowl winners.
Low6 was nominated for three awards, winning 'Best Virtual and Fantasy Operator' and 'Rising Star' at the EGR Operator Awards.
Further US expansion saw PGA TOUR and the Learfield College network adopt the Low6 platform to launch free-to-play games, creating a fan engagement tool and valuable sponsorship asset to the respective partners.
Another big year for awards, winning 'Fantasy & DFS Supplier' at the EGR B2B Awards, 'Freeplay Gaming Supplier' at the EGR North America Awards and 'Rising Star' at SiGMA Americas Awards.
Further innovation with next-level Fantasy, we launched the UF Coach NFT collection. The groundbreaking NFT drop enabled UF Coach holders to connect the Utility NFT to their game account and realise real-life benefits.
